OK. First let me point out that these are from a December issue, as in this year is pretty much over. Already. I feel like I have to write this in every post with an edi from a December issue, but it simply blows me away how the years just pass by in a heartbeat.
Well, with Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner what could be better than some fun, colorful FW style and who would do a 'glamazon in the city' editorial better than Japanese Vogue?
I will admit, I actually did believe that my first look into a Vogue Nippon would be all about Harajuku and Geisha styles... But from the first moment I actually did finally find an issue at a New York bookstore I fell in true love with the covers, layouts, editorials, and most of all - the styling. Vogue Nippon takes that stereotype of Japanese dress and says ' No. The ultimate Japanese Vogue woman is one of the most glamorous and all around fashion forward woman in the world!' and really, these photos are living proof.

oh yes!! this is glamour! I'm loving all the photos!! they're so dreamy.. vogue nippon is really amazing honestly.. not the harajuku type you'd expect.. with anna dello russo up front what's not to love in that edition?

i can't believe it's nearly 2012 either?! is it really... already? it seems wrong. love all the coloured furs... now i feel like a bright blue fur coat is a necessity. it's definitely not, but it looks amazing. must control myself! x

Omg gorgeous! I love the pastel make up, especially the lips. Obsessed with that look that I could never pull off.
While it does feel like New Year's is just around the corner, we have tons to look forward to before then like layering these gorgeous colors, textures and patterns.
