Lanvin Spring/Summer 2012 by Alber Elbaz and I DIE.
Anyone who has ever spoken to me about fashion knows that I am a fan of whatever Mr. Elbaz does - for example, my boyfriend knew absolutely nothing about high fashion when we met. Now if you gave him a test on who is what and all about designers and magazines he would ace it easy. However, the first thing he learned about fashion in general is that Alber Elbaz is simply a fashion designer god, a genius, an amazing talented designer with such an amazing past, and the reason I absolutely fell in love with the brand called Lanvin.
This collection is quite dark for spring, but that is kind of a breath of fresh air in this sea of color. I don't remember the last time, if ever, there was such a strong, bold shoulder at Lanvin. Those loose trousers are fabulous, and those final dresses are fit for a goddess. I also don't remember the last all white look from Lanvin, and I am loving all of the all white pieces here with all my heart. It seems forever since the 'snake print' trend being changed up. This collection is clean yet very graphic and strong. And when it comes to the shoes and accessories, I will let the photos (via style.com) speak for themself - here
So, it's safe to say I have fallen in love all over again with Lanvin and the creative mind behind it all. Another gorgeous collection has came from that fashion house, and I am so pleased.

Oh you and me both - Alber walks on water - it was dark and at first i was a bit umm and then you look at the pieces and they are so beautiful and the end dresses that you have shown so clearly - my oh my they are sublime just love them x
