This editorial first made me think of Halloween with the way everything is just so exaggerated and over-the-top, and the way the photography, Raquel's expression, hair, makeup, accessories all come together making a look fit enough to be worn to a ultra fashionable Halloween party.
Though I must say, I am scared saying this because usually when calling a look or garment 'Halloween' or 'costume' it is an insult (unless that was the direct intention of the designer). I know that here these garments were not made to be costumes, in fact they are some of the season's most beautiful high fashion looks, but I think the fact that they were transformed into becoming high fashion Halloween looks in this editorial is incredible, and so fitting as tomorrow is the big day.
Sadly, I am not celebrating this year. Living in a country that doesn't celebrate Halloween actually sucks.
