Brilliant Buys
(photos via tfs)
Constance Jablonski by Paola Kudacki for Harper's Bazaar US November 2011
I always love an editorial featuring the classic investment pieces of the season on a fabulous top model, even if they always seem to be the same - the top model looking fresh and commercial, jumping around in a perfectly lit studio, being photographed by a famous and brilliant photographer. There is nothing edgy, nothing over the top and nothing minimal. It's like the American fashion magazine's trademark editorial, I don't remember an American issue without one. And it's beautiful every single time, even though I feel like I've seen it all before. There is something incredibly genius in that....
Happy weekend everyone! xx

ReplyDeleteI love all of these looks!
ReplyDeleteSome of these dresses are really extraordinary. The pyjama looking outfit is really not something I'm seeing myself able to wear out in public. I've noticed the trend and seen some people even wear it on the red carpet but no matter how cute the ensemble is I can't get into it. I adore the red dress. It's probably my favorite. And the first white dress with the black detailing is so incredible. I think I'm just addicted to clothes. So many look so good.
ReplyDeletestunning collection.

I totally agree. A perfect editorial is hard to find, but when there's a classic model, timeless clothing and a legendary photographer thrown into the mix, a perfect shoot is almost guaranteed :) Thanks for sharing!

Amazing editorial, haven't got to the November issue, who styled it? It's funny with HB I can guess stylist by just looking at the clothes, oh how those internships pay off. Now I really want to know the stylist. Thanks for posting.
