Burberry Prorsum Spring 2012 at London Fashion Week
Hello from bed, day three! Honestly, I wish no one has to get food poisoning ever.
But on the very bright side... I feel like I have waited forever for Christopher Bailey to put out a striped trench coat and it has finally happened! As I was watching the live show yesterday, I was going ' yes, yes, yes, YES STRIPED TRENCH WOO!!!'.
I love it when a brand has it's signature look or piece, it makes a brand so special. Obviously, for Burberry it's the trench coat.
I think in this collection you really could see how the Burberry trench coat can be done in any color, with any embellishment, in any print, out of any material, tied with any belt (or without one), and accessorized in any way and it will look as chic and timeless as ever. It can be dressed up, or down and I have yet to see someone of whom their trenches don't flatter xx
PS, I just find this quite cool, for anyone who doesn't know, the meaning of the word 'Prorsum' is Latin for 'forward', meaning that you can call this line in other words 'Burberry Forward'. I guess as opposed to the Burberry London line which is more classic and basic, Burberry Prorsum is the fashion house's high fashion line.

I've always wondered what "prorsum" means but was too much of a lazy asshole to google it. So thanks for that! :)
Also, jesus, Christopher Bailey never fails to tug at my heartstrings. That turquoise trench- I think I need to pick up my jaw from the floor. Love! x

That look on Jourdan has been haunting me since I first saw it. Burberry and Mulberry are the London top dogs every season in my eyes .
