Home Sweet Home
My passion may be high fashion and editorials but my favorite kind of blogs and sites out there are all about interior.
Ever since I was young, I would dream of moving out into my own place not for the freedom, but to have a place where I could control the design and put art on every wall... And have a whole room as a closet, and another room as a magazine library, complete with a chic couch, brilliant lighting, and comfy Moroccan rug.
These photos are a few I have had in my 'interiors and such' folder, and are of what I am finding to be absolutely necessary for a house at the moment, in my opinion of course.
-The Arabian style door, in the brightest colour possible. Green is preferred. The door pictured is a door I would love to track down and buy for myself, it's bright, lovely, and the fact that it looks like it's 2,000 years old perfects it.
-White couches, huge windows, spacious, and a table featuring the best (Tom Ford, obv) for a living room/siting room.
-Mirrored stairs = gorgeous.
-A bookcase that is not crammed? Yes please.
-Imagine having a whole wall, or two, dedicated to just shoes, in their own cubbies... Bliss!!
-A circular dining set, where the table is a piece of art.
-A bedroom that screams comfort, complete with a Missoni blanket, comfy couch, and a fireplace.
-An office space should always be designed and decorated by oneself, this is how mine does look like now. I promise to photograph it and show you all soon.
-Again, art <3
Note - I am not giving credit to photo sources due to me having these photos in my file for ages and me not remembering. If any of these happens to be yours, or you know the source of them please let me know.
Spending this weekend eating fresh cookies, relaxing and preparing for my busy day Sunday (which is a normal workday in Israel), and dreaming of the perfect house. If anyone is looking for great interior design blogs and sites, feel free to ask! xx

I love dreaming about my future home, and how I'd decorate it! Love the pictures you found! The mirrored stairs are so cool, so far I only wanted to put a collection of mirrors on the wall leading up the stairs, but my mind might be changing here...
ReplyDeleteThe workspace and the shoe cubbies are right out of my dream home. Also I really love the mirrored stairs- so pretty and different.
